Jennifer WestJennifer is a fanatic designer of all things home and entertainment who loves cooking with family and friends. A Sonoma County native, Jennifer graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara, married the love of her life and raised two awesome kids, all while nurturing her career as a corporate concierge, meeting, event and wedding planner, and entrepreneur. The hospitality world is her wheelhouse, and curating is in her blood. Talking to people from different places and walks of life about their journey, dreams, and wishes make Curate Sonoma County the culmination of all the things she loves and wants to share with those who visit. Jennifer’s perfect day in Sonoma CountyStart with a run or hike in beautiful Trione-Annadel State Park, followed by a much-deserved breakfast out accompanied by a latte made by one of our many local coffee shops. After a quick facial, stop by the farmer’s market to pick up local goodies for dinner, then head to wine tasting, an Italian lunch, and home to whip up a fantastic dinner paired with Sonoma County wine and cheese. That’s a lot packed into one day, but it’s doable! What Jennifer loves about RhitaRhita’s always smiling. She brings the fun wherever she goes. She’s loyal, adventurous, creative and we’re the perfect team! Rhita BaldwinRhita is a wannabe chef, bourbon lover, craft-beer-crazy travel junky who loves her family and friends. Born in Morocco, and as an only child to international parents, Rhita was always at the adult table eating exotic foods and nurturing a lifelong wanderlust. After college, a career in sales allowed her to travel, where she would always seek out people who knew the area and give her the inside scoop. Having now lived in Sonoma County for more than 20 years, her goal for Curate Sonoma County is to be the in-the-know local for her clients. Rhita’s perfect long weekend in Sonoma CountyArrival night: Happy hour and farm-to-table dinner, followed by a walk around town. After-dinner drink of a locally made port or dessert wine (something we can only get in Sonoma County). Day 1: Coffee and pastries delivered (think: stay in jammies for a bit). Driver service for a day of beer and spirits tastings – the smaller the producer, the better! Lunch at a super unique, local farm-to-table restaurant. A quick nap and then an amazing dinner at the hotel or a home chef meal made with local ingredients. Day 2: Big culinary breakfast! Rent bikes, ride through the vineyards and countryside with stops for select wine tastings and a cheese-making class. Home to change and then out for drinks, dinner, and dancing. What Rhita loves about JenniferJennifer is caring, honest, funny, smart, passionate, and kind. And she’s really funny – did I say that already?
